Formal Housekeeper Needed ASAP in Manhattan

Job Title: Housekeeper (Part-Time)

Location: Manhattan, NY

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule:

• New Hire: Sunday to Friday OR Monday to Saturday up to candidate preferences, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (30 hours/week)

• Existing Housekeeper: Will work the opposite work days same hours. 

Compensation: $35 per hour

Our private client in Manhattan is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented part-time housekeeper to join their household staff. This housekeeper will work in coordination with an already established housekeeper, helping maintain high standards of cleanliness and order throughout the home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the existing housekeeper to clean and maintain all rooms, kitchens, and bathrooms

• Maintain the swimming pool deck area in a clean and inviting condition

• Handle laundry, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing

• Make beds and ensure all linens are clean and neatly arranged

• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and surfaces

• Remove trash and ensure proper disposal in all assigned areas

• Organize and tidy common spaces

• Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly to household management

Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in a private household is required

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail and cleanliness standards

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Reliable, punctual, and professional

• Physical ability to perform manual housekeeping tasks as needed
