One of our US Client has an immediate need of to backfill Senior Engineer position for a 6 months contract.

Location: Hybrid on-site Tallahassee FL (2 days a week from Tallahassee FL)

End client: University of Tallahassee/ Environment university IT infrastructure.

Role: Senior Engineer
Skills: Routing/Switching, Wi-Fi, troubleshooting Enterprise Core Network. Has experience in operating troubleshooting large enterprise networks. 
Experience: Expert/10+ year in designing, operating, and troubleshooting enterprise Core Network.
Given the scope of our client's operations, need expertise that can address both ongoing maintenance and future-forward initiatives. Here are the main areas of focus:

• Cloud Technology Expertise – Support in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and services to enhance scalability and operational efficiency.
• Planned Maintenance and Code Upgrades – Assistance with executing and managing scheduled maintenance and software upgrades for critical network infrastructure, including:
  • Cisco NCS chassis
  • Palo Alto firewalls
  • Juniper MX platforms
• Ongoing Support for Legacy Systems – Many of the critical services still rely on legacy platforms that require dedicated support and maintenance. This includes:
  • RADIUS authentication systems
  • RANCID for network configuration management
  • SSL certificate management
  • BIND DNS and DHCP administration
  • Custom scripts for automation and system monitoring
  • Validation and maintenance of CRON jobs
• Daily Workload Management – The resource would play a key role in handling the day-to-day operations of the FSU network, including:
  • Managing projects and tasks
  • Handling and resolving support cases
  • Troubleshooting network issues and providing proactive support
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure network stability and security
