So, what ‘s the position about in general?
As Industrial Automation Engineer you are responsible for designing and making of software related controls.
You set up a (control-technical) Theory of Operation and work this out in a Software Design Document. Afterwards you need to convert this document in software programs of Rockwell and/or Siemens.
You will also make a FAT/SAT-document. In this document you need to describe how the PLC-code needs to be tested. During the testphase you need to give support during the testing and commissioning of the projects. These activities can be at HQ, but also on location abroad.
Afterwards you need to give support on the Parts & Services department for tracking and solving control-technical malfunctions with already completed projects.

The position is characterized by a high level of variety and independence.

Cool! What’s the profile that you are looking for?

• PLC-controlsystems of Rockwell and/or Siemens;
• Electrical, Pneumatic or hydraulic control systems;
• Frequency inverters;
• Industrial networks;
• Setting up FAT/SAT reports;
• Methods like Hazard-analysis and FMEA.
• You at least have a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant industrial automation experience;
• You have analytical insight to understand problems and deal with it in a structured manner;
• You have solid knowledge of modern control systems;

And on a personal level?

• You are a teamplayer and are used to work in project teams;
• You have a practical and pragmatical mindset;
• You are communicatively skilled in speach and writing in English;
• You have a customer- and service-oriented mentality and thereby appropriate work attitude and behaviour.
