Job Title: Command Section Executive Assistant

Job Description:

Provides direct executive-level administrative support to the 480^th ISR Wing Commander. Coordinates, performs, and manages a variety of tasks and activities in direct support of the Wing Commander, Wing Vice Commander, Technical Director, Director of Staff, and Command Chief Master Sergeant. Non-supervisory, regular daytime hours.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities 

• Provides direct administrative support to 480^th ISR Wing Commander
• Supports Vice Commander, Technical Director, Director of Staff, and Command Chief Master Sergeant with administrative support as required
• Works alongside Executive Officer managing/deconflicting Wing Commander’s daily schedule
• Works alongside Executive Officer syncing Command Section executive schedules
• Works alongside Protocol and Public Affairs Officers syncing Wing Commander’s calendar
• Manages information workflows, prepares and distributes correspondence, tracks suspenses, supports meetings
• Arranges for Wing Commander’s travel and lodging, coordinates itineraries, prepares trip folders
• Other Command Section administrative duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Six years’ experience providing administrative support to US government activities
• Three years of experience supporting senior military and senior government civilian officials
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills

Desired Qualifications

• Associates Degree
• 480^th ISR Wing Headquarters experience
• Air Force command section experience
• Air Force intelligence unit experience

Education Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent

Security Clearance Requirements: 

• Top Secret/SCI
