Position Overview

1-800-GOT-JUNK? is seeking a high-impact Operations Manager / Sales Enablement Leader to help drive performance across our growing franchise in Orlando.

This role sits at the intersection of operations leadership, sales performance, and team development. You will play a key role in strengthening the capabilities of our field teams by delivering training, coaching leaders, and ensuring our sales process is consistently executed to create exceptional customer experiences.

Unlike traditional operations roles that focus heavily on scheduling or dispatch, this position is focused on developing people and improving performance. You will partner closely with Operations Managers and field teams to enhance sales execution, build confidence, and support sustainable revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Training & Enablement

  • Lead structured sales training sessions and skill development workshops

  • Deliver recurring sales seminars to reinforce consistent selling behaviors

  • Ensure teams clearly understand how to communicate value to customers

  • Promote consistent sales language and best practices across the organization

Coaching & Leadership Development

  • Conduct regular field evaluations alongside Operations Managers

  • Observe customer interactions and provide structured feedback

  • Develop targeted coaching and improvement plans for leaders and team members

  • Strengthen leadership capabilities across the operations team

Role Practice & Skill Development

  • Facilitate structured role-play sessions to build sales confidence

  • Conduct one-on-one coaching to improve communication and closing skills

  • Continuously refine training methods to improve effectiveness

Learning & Training Systems

  • Oversee participation in the company learning management platform

  • Ensure completion of required training programs and modules

  • Use performance data to identify skill gaps and guide coaching priorities

Onboarding & New Hire Development

  • Deliver onboarding and orientation for new team members

  • Prepare employees for both operational and customer-facing responsibilities

  • Support a smooth transition from training to field performance

Performance & KPI Improvement

Support improvements in key metrics, including:

  • Average job size

  • Customer satisfaction and Net Promoter Score (NPS)

  • Sales conversion rates

  • Cancellation rates

Leadership Collaboration

  • Partner with the General Manager and leadership team to align priorities

  • Use data insights and field observations to guide development efforts

  • Help foster a culture of accountability, growth, and high performance


Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in operations leadership, sales enablement, sales training, or team management

  • Experience coaching or developing frontline teams

  • Background in customer experience or performance-driven environments is an asset

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills

  • Highly organized with strong time management abilities

  • Comfortable using Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Drive) and operational systems

  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to turn insights into actionable improvements

  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

  • Ability to split time between the office and field observations
