1-800-GOT-JUNK? is looking for a driven and experienced General Manager to lead operations for our Birmingham franchise location. The General Manager is responsible for the overall performance of the business, including achieving daily, weekly, monthly, and annual revenue targets, while managing expenses, team performance, and operational excellence.
This role oversees all aspects of the business—including operations, sales, marketing, finances, and people leadership—and plays a key role in building a strong team culture while delivering exceptional customer service.

Execute quarterly goals and the annual operating plan

Lead daily operational performance and support the operations team
Ensure efficient route planning, dispatch, and truck team scheduling
Partner with fleet leadership to maintain vehicles and equipment
Manage job scheduling systems and reporting
Ensure excellent customer service and timely job execution
Support accounts receivable management and operational reporting
Achieve defined sales targets
Oversee local marketing initiatives to increase market presence
Build and maintain strong relationships with local partners and customers
Identify opportunities for repeat and referral business
Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing team members

Previous leadership or general management experience
