Private Family in Santa Clarita, CA Seeking a Live-In Infant Nanny
Position: Full-Time Temporary Live-In Nanny - 2-month temporary position with the hope that it will become permanent for the right candidate.
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday + Weekends (Flexible availability required) - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday hours are: 5:00/5:30 AM to 6:00/7:00 PM while mom and dad are working, and availability to wake up during the night with the baby, as needed; Saturdays and Sundays are more flexible but family is willing to offer a guaranteed number of hours. Baby is with grandma on Tuesdays and Thursdays so those days would be days off.
Salary: $35/hour, paid as a flat monthly rate; Paid Federal Holidays
Start Date: ASAP
Relocation: Not offered; Local candidates only, or within a reasonable distance, where the daily commute may be too long, but will live-in when working. The family is happy to have the candidate go home on days off.
A warm and loving private family located in Santa Clarita, CA is looking to hire a dedicated and experienced live-in nanny to care for their 3.5-month-old baby boy. Both parents work long hours outside the home, leaving early and returning late, and are seeking a reliable, nurturing presence who can provide flexible availability during workdays and be available overnight if the baby wakes or is ill.
The family values a quiet, peaceful home environment and prefers a nanny who is calm, discreet, and solely focused on the baby. This is a 2-month temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right fit.

Home Size: Approx. 2,300 Sq. Ft.
Pets: None
Provide loving, attentive, and developmentally appropriate care for an infant
Handle all aspects of infant care: bottle feeding, burping, diapering, soothing, and nap routines
Engage the baby in tummy time, stroller walks, reading, and developmental play
Be available to wake and care for the baby during the night if needed (e.g., feeding, changing, soothing if unwell)
Light housekeeping related to the baby: washing bottles, baby laundry, changing crib linens, and keeping nursery tidy
Maintain a calm, quiet presence in the home
The ideal candidate is calm, nurturing, and experienced, with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in infant and newborn care. The nanny must be able to communicate clearly in English, demonstrate confidence in infant care, including overnight support, and have knowledge of sleep training practices.
The family appreciates someone who is low-key, self-sufficient, and comfortable in a quiet home. They are open, respectful, and looking for a long-term fit who can grow with their family over time.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with infants/newborns in private homes

Legal to work in the United States
CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
Clear English communication skills
Flexible availability to provide care Monday, Wednesday, Friday, from approximately 5:00/5:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with availability to attend to the baby overnight as needed, and weekends (daytime and nighttime hours more flexible on weekends).
Background check required upon contingent offer of hire
Willing to live-in to provide overnight care (private bedroom provided)
