Position: Part-Time Housekeeper (Formal Home)

Location: Upper East Side, NYC

Start Date: Mid-August (Summer Opportunity in the Hamptons Available if candidate needs to start working sooned)

Schedule: 3 Days/Week (Fridays Required; Other Days Flexible)

Hours: Ideally 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM 

Compensation: $35–$40/hour

A high-profile family of five is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented part-time housekeeper to join their long-term household team. This position is based in a very formal, meticulously maintained Upper East Side apartment, where the highest standards of cleanliness and organization are expected.

The family has a full-time housekeeper who will return in mid-August. This part-time role will work alongside her and become a core part of a collaborative and loyal household staff. The position is available for a mid-August start, but the family is open to bringing the right candidate to the Hamptons for the summer if earlier employment is needed.

Responsibilities:

• Meticulous deep cleaning and daily upkeep of a formal residence

• Laundry and ironing, with strong attention to detail and garment care

• Organization of closets, drawers, and household items

• Maintaining household supplies and cleanliness standards

• Working in harmony with a full-time housekeeper and respecting established systems

• Light assistance with kitchen upkeep (no cooking required)

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in formal households is essential
