A warm, professional family in Los Angeles is seeking a full-time live-in Newborn Care Specialist to join them during the first critical months of their baby’s life. The family is ideally looking for someone who is open to transitioning into a long-term nanny position following the initial newborn care phase. This is an incredible opportunity for a bilingual (Japanese-English) caregiver who is nurturing, developmentally focused, and passionate about supporting a child's growth through both language and cultural immersion.

The ideal candidate brings a background in newborn care, a deep understanding of early childhood development, and a sincere passion for cultivating a bilingual, enriched home environment.

  • Travel with the family domestically and internationally, as needed

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Fluency in both Japanese and English (spoken and written)

  • Significant prior experience working as a Newborn Care Specialist or nanny in a live-in capacity

  • Emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity, with an appreciation for both American and Japanese values and customs

  • Strong understanding of infant care, including feeding, sleep shaping, and developmental milestones

  • A warm, professional demeanor and ability to integrate seamlessly into a household

  • A background or coursework in early childhood education is strongly preferred

  • Valid passport and flexibility to travel

  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

  • Full work authorization in the United States

This position is perfect for a caregiver who is deeply committed to fostering early learning, bilingual fluency, and emotional security in the first years of life. Whether you are seeking a temporary NCS role or ready to transition into a long-term nanny position, this is a family that values dedication, cultural exchange, and professional excellence.
