Job Title: Private Chef

Location: Davidsonville, MD

Job Type: Part-Time

Work Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday

Work Hours: Roughly 3:00 PM - 7:30 PM

Salary: $60,000++(Client will increase salary for experienced candidates, Please send me your preferred salary!)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Private Chef to prepare and serve family meals each evening for a household consisting of two adults and three young children (ages 9, 8, and 4). The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a custom, diverse menu that caters to the family's preferences for healthy and unique dishes. This includes accommodating the possibility of different meal options for adults and children as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meal Preparation: Plan, prepare, and cook dinner for the family, ensuring meals are ready to be plated and served each night.
  • Menu Development: Create a varied and exciting menu that caters to the family's diverse tastes, including healthy options and occasional separate meals for adults and children.
  • Grocery Shopping: Handle all grocery shopping required for meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and of quality.
  • Serving Meals: Plate and serve dinner each evening, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen, including all cooking and preparation areas, and manage cleanup after each meal.
  • Family Dining: Facilitate a warm and welcoming environment where the family can enjoy meals together.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Private Chef, preferably with a background in high-end dining.
  • Ability to create a wide range of dishes, incorporating unique and broad palates.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring a clean and orderly kitchen at all times.
  • Ability to cater to the dietary needs and preferences of both adults and young children.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure meals are prepared and served promptly.
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with the ability to create a positive dining experience for the family.

Qualifications:

  • Culinary degree or equivalent training and experience.
  • Experience in meal planning and preparation for families.
  • Knowledge of diverse cuisines and healthy cooking techniques.
  • Ability to manage grocery shopping and maintain inventory.
  • Strong commitment to cleanliness and kitchen hygiene.
