You’re proactive, trustworthy, and take pride in delivering high-quality work. You understand the importance of discretion and confidentiality, particularly in a private residence where personal and professional life may occasionally overlap. You thrive in a calm, beautifully maintained home and bring strong experience working with high-net-worth individuals, as well as a familiarity with luxury fabrics, dry cleaning needs, and premium wardrobe care.

Experience with cats and dogs is important, as the household includes a friendly dog and two cats. A warm, adaptable personality and an eye for detail are key—this role is as much about creating a polished environment as it is about being part of a well-run, welcoming home.

Position Details

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–4:00 PM (flexibility available for fewer days with longer hours)
Commitment: Long-term, permanent position
Location: Gramercy Park, Manhattan
Compensation: $35–$40 per hour, commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities

Full housekeeping of a 3-room home
Expert care of laundry, including special handling for high-end garments
Coordinating dry cleaning and wardrobe upkeep
Maintaining an organized, clutter-free environment
Occasional pet-related care and attention
Respecting privacy, engaging professionally in conversation, and maintaining boundaries

Requirements

Fluent in English
Prior experience working in private homes, ideally with high-profile or HNW clients
At least 2 professional references
Must pass a background check upon conditional offer
Kind, respectful, and adaptable nature
