Live-Out Nanny/Housekeeper Needed – Turtle Bay, Manhattan

A friendly and active family of four, recently relocated from the UK, is seeking a reliable and warm Live-Out Nanny/Housekeeper to support their household in Turtle Bay, near Midtown Manhattan. This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, with a start time of 12:00 PM and end time at 8:00 PM.

About the Family:

The family has two delightful daughters aged 4 and 2. Both girls are full of energy and love running around in the park and imaginative play. The 4-year-old is strong-willed and independent, so the ideal candidate should be patient, nurturing, and gentle—able to guide with kindness rather than strict discipline. The 2-year-old is easygoing, playful, and affectionate.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a simple, healthy family dinner (e.g., meat and vegetables)

• School pick-up (local) in the afternoon

• Supervise and engage the children in play and winding down activities

• Manage evening routines: dinner, bath, and bedtime by 8:00 PM

• Light housekeeping as needed (e.g., tidying up after meals and playtime)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

• 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

• Weekends off

Compensation:

• $60,000 per year

• Paid holidays and vacation negotiable

• Energetic and active—able to keep up with two young children
