About the Club
An exciting opportunity has opened for an Events Manager to join a prestigious conservative focused private members’ club located in the heart of Washington, DC. The club is known for its elegant, traditional setting and exclusive member experience. This role will focus primarily on planning and executing member-facing events, from private
dinners and speaker series to large-scale gatherings. While events are the core responsibility, the Events Manager must also be comfortable assisting across departments when needed, ensuring smooth coordination and supporting overall club operations.
The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a high-touch hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead planning, production, and execution of club events and private functions, from concept to completion
• Coordinate with internal departments and external vendors to ensure seamless logistics and execution
• Manage event timelines, budgets, production schedules, and day-of oversight
• Design and produce supporting materials such as menus, place cards, signage, and branded event collateral
• Serve as point of contact for members hosting private events, offering guidance and
concierge-level service
• Oversee setup and breakdown for events, ensuring alignment with club standards
• Maintain and manage the internal events calendar and communicate regularly with all
departments to ensure coordination
• Assist and work closely with other departments (e.g., Membership), to support team flow and continuity
Skills & Experience Required
• 3–5 years’ experience in event management, ideally within a private club, luxury hospitality, or high-end lifestyle environment
• High attention to detail with a refined sense of presentation and guest experience
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced
setting
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with members, vendors, and internal teams
• Hands-on, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support broader operations when needed
• Familiarity with basic design tools (Canva or Adobe Suite) for event materials is a plus
• Tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
