Schedule: Monday - Thursday - 7 am - 5:30 pm / Friday - 7 am - 3:30 pm

Role Summary:
To support the maintenance team at a paper converting factory with a disposable cup printing line. This role is key to ensuring the efficient and continuous operation of converting, die-cutting, packaging, and printing equipment.
The ideal candidate should have experience in industrial environments, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to assist with diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance of machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Maintenance Manager with inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance of industrial machinery, including:
- Paper converting machines (folding, wrapping, laminating, die-cutting, etc.)
- Flexographic or offset printing equipment for disposable cups
- Basic pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Diagnose basic mechanical faults and make adjustments under supervision.
- Maintain maintenance records and daily operation reports.
- Ensure cleanliness and order in the work area.
- Help with the installation and startup of new equipment or components.
- Respond promptly to urgent repair requests on the production floor to minimize downtime.
- Strictly follow safety protocols and industrial best practices.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Previous experience in paper, plastics, or converting factories is desirable.
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure.
- Availability for rotating shifts, overtime, or weekends as needed.
- Basic knowledge of measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) and ability to read mechanical drawings (desirable).
- Language: Spanish (required), basic English desirable.
