This role is essential in ensuring the timely movement of outbound shipments and scheduling inbound deliveries. Contract-to-Hire
Pay Rate: DoE
Schedule: Monday-Friday – 7 am - 3:30 pm or 8 am - 4:30 pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up outbound shipments with LTL and full truckload (FTL) common carriers
- Schedule inbound deliveries and manage incoming freight
- Ensure shipments are dispatched immediately upon completion
- Maintain shipping documentation and records accurately
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and external carriers to coordinate logistics
- Work directly in the warehouse as needed to support operations
- Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Use software tools such as QuickBooks, Excel, Word, email, and phone systems
- Support and manage EDI processes when applicable
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in shipping/logistics or warehouse management
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proactive and quality-conscious mindset
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Hands-on, team-oriented, and solution-driven
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools and QuickBooks
- Familiarity with EDI processes is a plus
