Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using SAP or a similar CRM/order management system.
- Confirm product availability, pricing, and delivery timelines.
- Monitor and update order status, providing timely communication to customers.
- Generate order-related documents such as confirmations, packing slips, and invoices.
- Coordinate with production, planning, and shipping teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a professional and courteous manner.
- Handle order changes, returns, and delivery issues promptly and effectively.
- Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer records and order history.
- Support the resolution of customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
- Assist with inventory tracking and product availability checks.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field is an asset.
- 2+ years of experience in a customer service or order entry role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Proficient in SAP, Salesforce, or another CRM/order management system.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Experience working with production and logistics teams is an asset.
