Job Title: Project Scheduler
Position Summary:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented Project Scheduler with 3–5 years of pharmaceutical-industry construction experience to develop and maintain project schedules that ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Project and familiar with pharmaceutical GMP requirements; Primavera P6 experience is a plus.
Schedule Development & Maintenance
Create, update, and manage detailed project schedules (master and detailed level) using Microsoft Project.
Incorporate start-up, qualification (IQ/OQ/PQ), equipment installation, and commissioning milestones.
Resource & Cost Integration
Coordinate with Project Managers and discipline leads to allocate labor, materials, and equipment resources.
Integrate cost data and forecast burn rates into the schedule for accurate budget tracking.
Change Control & Risk Management
Implement schedule change-control processes; assess impact of scope changes and delays.
Perform schedule risk analysis (e.g., critical-path, float, what-if scenarios) and recommend mitigation strategies.
Progress Monitoring & Reporting
Track actual vs. planned progress; update percent complete and critical path metrics.
Generate weekly/monthly schedule status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Liaise with Construction, Engineering, Procurement, Quality, and Validation teams to gather updates and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Facilitate schedule review meetings and proactively communicate schedule risks and opportunities.
Compliance & Best Practices
Ensure schedules reflect pharmaceutical-industry standards and GMP compliance requirements.
Maintain document control for schedule baselines, updates, and change logs.
Continuous Improvement
Identify process improvements to streamline scheduling workflows and tools.
Provide schedule-management training and mentoring to junior planners.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
3–5 years of hands-on scheduling experience in pharmaceutical or biotech construction projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project (2016 or newer).
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, commissioning, and qualification phases (IQ/OQ/PQ).
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently under pressure and manage multiple concurrent schedules.
Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
Familiarity with cost-loading schedules and Earned Value Management (EVM) principles.
Working knowledge of regulatory requirements (cGMP, FDA guidelines).
Certification in project scheduling or planning (e.g., PMI-SP, PSP).
Advanced Excel skills for schedule analysis and reporting.
