The Multi-Skilled Technician will support daily maintenance and repair operations within a controlled, secure, and air-conditioned manufacturing environment at my client’s facility. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone mechanically inclined who enjoys variety in their workday — from repairing fences and ventilators to performing general plant maintenance and mechanical adjustments.
The technician will join an established onsite team with my client, supporting smooth plant operations across a 900,000 sq. ft. facility situated on 500 acres.
Perform routine maintenance and mechanical repairs across facility equipment and systems.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical components such as motors, belts, fans, and ventilators.
Support infrastructure upkeep, including minor structural and mechanical tasks (e.g., fencing, equipment adjustments).
Maintain tools, materials, and safety compliance within a clean, secure work environment.
Collaborate with specialized teams (HVAC, electrical) when necessary to ensure seamless plant operations.
Proven mechanical experience in an industrial or facilities setting.
Valid driver’s license (site not accessible by public transport).
Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude and ability to work independently on varied maintenance tasks.
Basic computer skills for work order tracking and reporting.
French fluency required; bilingual (English/French) strongly preferred.
Electromechanics background (Québec-specific training or degree preferred).
Welding experience considered an asset.
Experience in a manufacturing or clean-room environment.
Adaptable and hands-on professional with strong mechanical skills.
Demonstrates a proactive attitude toward maintenance and problem-solving.
Possesses electromechanical experience or relevant technical background.
Comfortable working in a structured, secure, and clean manufacturing environment.
