Join a high-impact digital transformation initiative with a leading federal institution, supporting the modernization of Identity and Access Management (IAM) across a multi-departmental environment. We’re seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst to shape and deliver secure, scalable access solutions that will directly support national infrastructure and security goals.
Engage with stakeholders across departments to gather, document, and validate complex business and technical requirements
Conduct deep-dive business process analyses, defining current and future state models
Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences
Translate business needs into functional and non-functional specifications, supporting solution design and procurement
Create detailed documentation to support testing, implementation, training, and end-user adoption
Participate in solution evaluations, UAT planning, functional testing, and deployment support
Develop engaging communications and training materials for end users and business partners
Provide expert input to solution architecture with a focus on IAM best practices and Zero-Trust principles
Must-Have Qualifications:
Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
10+ years of business analysis experience working with diverse stakeholders on complex IT initiatives
5+ years in a Senior Business Systems Analyst role on large-scale enterprise projects
Experience with IAM tools and frameworks, particularly Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including Conditional Access, Identity Governance, Entitlement Management, and Cloud-based controls
Strong understanding of IAM concepts (e.g., MFA, RBAC, SAML, Oath, policy enforcement)
Proven experience in Access Management solution implementations and migrations
Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical solutions
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—capable of influencing at all levels
Familiarity with software development methodologies and testing lifecycle
Nice-to-Have Assets:
Knowledge of Zero-Trust security frameworks
Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (RBAC, lifecycle management, certification campaigns)
Business intelligence and data analytics proficiency
Experience automating repetitive business processes or data-heavy workflows
CBAP designation (IIBA)
