We are seeking a hands-on and visionary Delivery Lead to oversee end-to-end delivery of solutions within the Repo & Secured Funding domain of a global investment bank. This is a strategic leadership role combining delivery management, solution design, technical oversight, and team mentorship. You will lead a high-performing team to deliver scalable, innovative, and reliable technology solutions aligned with business needs, while fostering a collaborative and agile work culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Management & Leadership

• Lead Agile ceremonies, prioritize deliverables, and define/track milestones

• Identify delivery risks and implement mitigation strategies

• Align technical solutions with business requirements and long-term goals

• Maintain consistent communication with stakeholders and cross-functional teams

• Champion team culture, innovation, and continuous improvement

Team Empowerment & Collaboration

• Foster a culture of trust, open communication, and accountability

• Guide and mentor team members, including junior and new hires

• Support team members in resolving functional and technical challenges

• Conduct functional spec reviews and lead code review practices

Solution Design & Technical Oversight

• Oversee the design of scalable, maintainable, and efficient solutions

• Validate functional and technical architectures with a data-centric lens

• Collaborate with architects to align solutions with enterprise standards

• Promote a culture of technical curiosity, experimentation, and innovation

Quality Assurance & Maintainability

• Advocate for engineering excellence using Agile, SecDevOps, CI/CD, and Software Craftsmanship principles

• Drive continuous testing and test-driven development practices (TDD/BDD/DDD)

• Monitor and manage technical debt and implement remediation strategies

Production Stability & Change Management

• Ensure platform stability and monitor KPIs for incident and problem management

• Lead incident response communication and remediation planning

• Oversee change management aligned with business timelines

• Respond to audits and regulatory inquiries with technical documentation and impact assessments

Candidate Profile:

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• 7+ years of experience in capital markets technology, including:

  • Experience leading development or delivery teams

  • Functional understanding of Repo and Securities Lending a strong asset

Core Skills:

• Strong leadership with empathy, influence, and problem-solving capabilities

• Proven success in delivery management and team coordination

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills (French & English)

• Ability to mentor, coach, and develop technical and functional team members

• Experience managing cross-functional collaboration between IT, operations, and business

Technical Competencies:

• Familiarity with technologies such as C#, APIs, and Cloud-based architectures

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and automated testing strategies

• Knowledge of capital markets workflows and secured funding instruments
