2025-21 Identity Analyst

Job Description:
As an Identity Analyst you will be a strong team player with a knack for solving complex problems and translating technical information into action items. You’ll be accountable for assessing current Identity and Access processes and working with the team to implement IAM best practices. You will quickly become an expert in existing access workflows and work in partnership with the larger Enterprise Identity & Application Security team to develop new ones.


Key Responsibilities
Experience with Privileged Access management, Identity Provider configuration, Access control systems, Automation and a desire for continuous improvement will be crucial to success in this role.
Act as a representative of the Enterprise Identity & Application Security team working to promote strong partnerships with teams and stakeholders that are dependent on our services.
Adherence to a performance based SLA, access changes in our environment are fast paced and sometimes very complex. We need someone who can keep up, especially when under pressure!
Gradually assume accountability for improving existing tools and processes to meet industry best practices.
Consult with other teams to ensure that new projects adhere to IAM best practices and standards.
Consistently evaluate new and existing Identity & Access processes seeking process efficiencies and opportunities for automation.
Learn existing processes and apply knowledge with supervision and oversight.
Seek training and mentoring from competent colleagues and IAM Leaders.
Promote secure access management practices across the organization.
Demonstrate growth and desire to advance in organization.

Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of general experience in an IT Enterprise environment.
Experience with Identity Providers and implementing Single Sign-On (SSO) is required
Experience with Google Cloud Platform access controls (GCP Access Controls , OAuth Client configurations, API keys, Service Account keys etc) is required.
Familiarity with authentication protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and LDAP is required.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Completed or actively pursuing industry-standard certifications such as CISSP, SSCP, or Google PCSE.
Experience with Identity & Access Management in a multi-forest Active Directory environment is considered an asset.
Privileged Access Management (PAM) experience is considered an asset.
Familiarity with IAM governance, regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR), and access reviews is considered an asset.
Familiarity with the NIST framework and information security concepts such as the principle of least privilege.
ServiceNow / ITIL v4 experience.
Strong soft skills with the ability to translate technical access controls into business terms and collaborate across teams.
Proven capability to map, translate, and improve processes is considered an asset.
Proven researching and troubleshooting skills.
Strong familiarity with Windows, MacOS, and Linux operating systems is considered an asset.
Experience with Python, Shell scripting, or APIs for automating identity lifecycle management is considered an asset.
