What you’ll do 

• Develop and optimize accurate, high performing data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform, to deliver telemetry from multiple models of video devices in the field.
• Create engaging, high performing visualizations to support operational decisions, identify improvement opportunities, and to quickly assess and respond to potential or developing issues.
• Collaborate with external vendor partners, bringing together industry expertise to create and scale device management solutions for set-top box devices.
• Partner with internal stakeholder teams - you will ensure proper integration with backend systems for device analytics to meet customers' expectations of a highly reliable, always-on service
• Apply best practices for software development in different frameworks and troubleshoot integration issues
• Ensure a high level of code quality and integrity in software development projects
• Work with Project Managers, Product Managers and Network Planners to ensure the successful delivery of projects
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and work processes 

What you bring 

• In-depth experience developing, deploying and tuning large scale data warehouses and data pipelines using tools like SQL, BI layers (Looker or Tableau), BigQuery, Dataflow, Kafka.
• Experience developing high performance code in JavaScript or Python.
• Experience integrating heterogeneous data sources to achieve highly integrated, performant data pipelines and visualizations.
• Working knowledge of developing and scaling RESTful services.
• Experience designing, building and maintaining High Availability systems.
• Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills.
• Know your way around with modern source code manager such at Git.
• Translate technical concepts and requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
• Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineer or related field.
• Experience with automated testing frameworks.
• Experience integrating with third party APIs and working with testing platforms such as Postman.
• Practical experience in delivering best-in-class video entertainment experiences.
• JIRA and Confluence knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD using technologies like GitHub Actions.
