Our client, a dynamic and growing global investment bank is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to join their team innMontreal. This is a senior-level role where you will drive strategic HR initiatives, foster a culture of excellence, and contribute to organizational success. As a trusted advisor to leadership, you will shape HR strategies that enhance talent management, organizational development, and employee engagement. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives to drive high performance and strong employee engagement.
Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including strategic headcount planning, talent acquisition, and offer negotiations.
Oversee comprehensive onboarding and offboarding programs to ensure seamless employee transitions.
Drive talent management programs, including performance management, succession planning, and leadership development, while managing the Global Markets Analyst and Intern programs.
Partner with department heads and global HR teams on talent reviews, skills assessments, and development initiatives.
Provide guidance on employee relations, coaching managers on performance matters, and collaborating with external counsel as needed.
Manage compensation, benefits, and annual promotion exercises, ensuring alignment with market data and performance metrics.
Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on complex HR challenges and organizational initiatives.
Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts, fostering a culture of respect and belonging.
Ensure compliance with Quebec labor laws, managing employee mobility and career development programs.
Act as a change leader, driving continuous improvement and organizational transformation.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred. Professional HR certification (e.g., CHRP, SHRM-SCP) is highly desirable.
Experience: 5-7 years of progressive HR experience in the financial sector, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Prior experience supporting sales and trading functions is a strong asset.
Leadership & Influence: Proven ability to inspire, influence, and engage stakeholders at all levels.
Strategic Mindset: Experience in leveraging HR metrics and data-driven insights to shape HR policies and initiatives.
