Requirement as a part of Calgary Airport Managed Service and Dedicated On-site contract.
· We are a customer driven solution delivery and assurance team within TELUS, responsible for providing network architecture and design, delivery and support to our customers. We focus on meeting customer’s business requirements by providing state of the art technical solutions.
· Delivery of contracted managed network services to a high profile customer
· Ensure a high level of end-user satisfaction and achieve/exceed SLA commitments which drive a high Likelihood to Recommend (L2R) rating
· Create network and security designs as per network architecture framework according to customer requirements
· Implement and coordinate network solutions for customer locations
· Provide installation, troubleshooting, repairs and configuration management of network equipment
· Identify and analyze the root causes of performance breakdowns and recommend solutions
· Perform capacity and performance management as part of pro-active maintenance routines
· Perform network device and management tool upgrades and make enhancements as part of the lifecycle activities
· Produce necessary documentation for the managed network environment. This may include network diagrams, method of procedures, business case development, statements of work, transition plans, project plans, etc.
· Pursue network availability and reliability through continuous improvement

Responsibilities
1. Provides technical support to network teams for highly complex and critical service troubles.
Lead the team in developing proactive measures, processes and practices to support the services delivered on the network.
2. Provides technical analysis and recommendations to engineering, enterprise network and/or vendors to ensure smooth delivery & implementation of enhancements and/or fixes to our platform applications and associated services.
3. Lead TELUS in resolution of MPLS network, IP Backbone network and Multicast network problems.
4. May manage the Vendor trouble cases on behalf of TELUS and hold regular Operational meetings with Vendors.
5. Develop Business Cases for capital or OPEX budgets.
6. Adherence to change management processes.
7. Develop and maintain documentation and information, e.g. network diagrams, typologies, contact information, etc.
Must-Have Skills (min. 3 skills please):
1. Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
2· A minimum of CCNP certification is required; advanced certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or their equivalents are highly valued
3. Experience with Cisco SD-Access and VXLAN technologies for advanced network segmentation and virtualization.
Nice-to-Have Skills (min. 3 skills please):
1. Ability to communicate directly with customers using appropriate business and technical language to achieve a desired outcome
2. Experience with Cisco Unified Communications (CUCM, CUC, CER, CUBE, SIP) would be an asset
3. Knowledge of Python or Ansible for network automation and scripting is an asset.
