Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Program Manager to lead and manage the end to end application delivery cycle and benefits reporting for a new low code/no code project management application for TELUS Networks. Your mission will be to Work with Business Stakeholders to identify current pain points and inefficiencies, Work with Peers, Appian and TELUS IT teams to Plan & Design an optimal solution, provide detailed story points to TELUS Digital for Build & QA all while performing Change Management to ensure smooth UAT, Delivery, Adoption and Day 2 of your optimized solution that will significantly impact the productivity of users.

Here's How:
- Vision and Execution: Develop a clear vision of the future state aligned with the Program’s vision and execute a strategic plan to achieve that vision.
- Own Process Design and Submit Quality Business Requirements aligned with vision: Guide and support the business in developing high-quality business requirements and designing efficient processes. Create requirement analysis documentation and translate that to the business stakeholders, technical teams.
- Align Delivery with Long-Term Roadmap: Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure that project and application deliveries are in sync with the organization's long-term strategic roadmap.
- Build and Execute against a Project Plan including Change Management & Communications: Work with key stakeholders and development teams to ensure cohesive and aligned project execution and application adoption.
- Manage TELUS Digital Developer Pod Relationships & Delivery including QA: Lead and manage partner relationships to ensure effective delivery, including communication with business stakeholders and reviewing Statements of Work (SOW). Accountable for technical and functional test planning and executing and acting as a liaison with QA team.
- Manage Timelines and Risks: Oversee project timelines, proactively identifying and communicating potential risks or delays to ensure timely delivery.
- Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates on progress and project outcomes to program leadership, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.
- Build Community and Collaborate with Cross Functional Stakeholders within TELUS and Industry Experts: Work closely with fellow product owners and Transformation & Simplification teams across TELUS Networks to ensure no duplication of work, best practice sharing and full value realization. Ensure end to end solutions are effective and workable across application domains. Build relationships with Appian Sales and Customer Success organizations.

- Must Have: Experience as a Systems/Application Product Owner; could be technical or business
- Must Have: Experience in agile software development tools, processes, governance best practices
- Must have: Experience with Process Optimization; Proficient in process mapping and process improvement
- Nice to have: Experience using JIRA boards and sprints
- Nice to have: Knowledge of working in or developing in the Appian platform
- Nice to have: Knowledge of Cloud Based Applications including Postgres, AWS, GCP, APIs, Microservices
- Nice to have: Experience with TELUS IT network architecture and security protocols
- Nice to have: Knowledge or experience with Project Management Methodologies
- Nice to have: Knowledge or experience with Telecom Network Build Programs, ideally within TELUS Networks.
- Requirements:
- University Degree or Equivalent (ideally in Information Technology or Applied Data)
- 5 years Experience in Telecom Project Management or Systems/Application Product Ownership
