The Senior Data Analyst for Labour Relations will play a pivotal role in analyzing and interpreting complex labor relations data to support decision-making and strategy development. This role will focus on providing data-driven insights related to collective bargaining agreements, workforce trends, and labor costs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analytics, labor relations, and experience working with large datasets to help streamline negotiations and optimize labor strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
•Analyze data related to labor agreements, grievances, workforce demographics, and labor costs to support labor relations strategies.
•Provide actionable insights to labor relations teams to inform negotiations and strategic decisions.
•Build and maintain databases and dashboards that track key labor metrics, such as contract compliance, wage trends, and employee relations issues.
•Collaborate with HR, legal, and labor relations teams to interpret and communicate the impact of data on collective bargaining agreements and labor strategies.
•Develop and refine models to forecast labor costs and identify trends in employee relations.
•Prepare reports and presentations summarizing key findings and recommendations for senior leadership.
•Ensure data accuracy and integrity by conducting regular audits and updates to data sources.
•Support labor relations teams during collective bargaining by providing data analytics and real-time insights.
•Monitor and analyze external labor market trends to inform organizational strategies and negotiations.
Key Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Business, or a related field.
•5+ years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on labor relations, human resources, or workforce analytics.
•Strong proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
