Company currently uses BMC Remedy ITSM (Information Technology Service Management) to track and manage incident and requests, change records, problem investigations and the configuration management database (CMDB). The Remedy ITSM system is used to deliver customer support for all Ontario Health end-user systems (both internal and external) through our service desks and technical support teams. The current BMC Remedy ITSM version (9.1.03) requires an upgrade to the SaaS version of Remedy (Helix ITSM).
Must haves:
· "Helix Migrate" Certified (BMC PS or BMC Approved Partner)
· Remedy ARS (Action Request System) Development, 4 years+
· Backend data of, and all the features of BMC ITSM v9+, 4 years+
· Code review and unit testing, 4 years+
· SmartIT Development, 3 years+
· PL/SQL (Procedural Language extensions to the Structured Query Language), 2 year+
· Code analysis and reverse engineering solutions, 4 years+
· Mapping business requirements into functional specifications, 2 years+
· Designing and building of custom data-driven solutions, 2 years+
Responsibilities:
· Support the team in the migration of configurations, data, and code from existing on-premise v9 system to an upgraded SaaS system
· Manage own time to deliver the assigned work that’s part of the upgrade
· Communicate and update the team on regular basis
· Provide support for existing v9 on-premise system as required
· Reverse engineer existing feature and customizations in order to re-write them/migrate them to the upgraded SaaS version
· Rewrite capabilities and customizations that rely on Active Links so that they work in the Smart-IT interface
· Rewrite existing capabilities that rely on direct PL/SQL so that they deliver the same capability without relying on PL/SQL

· Remedy integration options, including Web Services, 1 year+
· A team player with a track record for meeting aggressive deadlines; strong relationship building, facilitation and influencing skills to successfully partner with internal and external stakeholders
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Working knowledge of privacy policies and security principles
· Experience conducting design walkthrough sessions with project team
· Experience reviewing, analyzing, and modifying product installation scripts including encoding, testing, debugging
· Ability to provide post-implementation support and resolve any post-implementation technical issues
· Ability to provide user and system documentation as required
Deliverables:
· Candidates must be "Helix Migrate" Certified (BMC PS or BMC Approved Partner)
· Act as developer to support the upgrade and migration work of Remedy ITSM
· Provide regular updates on all development work to the Lead Consultant/Senior Architect and communicate re any challenges/delays immediately
· Provide support – as requested by Ontario Health – of existing Remedy ITSM system
· Document build and install steps for work done
· Describe development work in peer review sessions
· Build, document, and test migration scripts
· Work with clients through User Acceptance Testing and implement fixes and updates based on the testing
