Purpose of the function
The Analyst Developer is responsible for creating, testing and implementing IT programs and to guarantee the quality, user-friendliness and performance of the integrated systems. He/she plays a reference role in the development environment to deliver high-quality systems that meet the known and predefined standards within the agreed schedule.
 
Main responsibilities
  1. System Development
Writing, improving, and testing programs based on detailed analyses; carrying out integration, regression, and performance tests to check how the applications’ components work together and interact.
 
  1. Technical design
Translate the functional analysis into a technical analysis and provide documentation. Being capable of directly discussing with Business to capture their requirements and translate them into clear specifications for the development
 
  1. Testing
Supporting the IT team in setting up an acceptance test environment and helping users run those tests; critically analyzing the results and making (or having) the necessary adjustments.
  1. Implementation
Implement and follow up the P&V coding standards (programs, parameterization, documentation, ...) taking into account interactions with other domains and after approval of the business; coordinate with other domains during development activities

 
Main skills
  • Language
  • Mother tongue Dutch or French, with good knowledge of the other language
  • Good knowledge of English is a must
 
  • Must have
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent through experience
  • First experience in a similar position
  • Expert in Mulesoft (development, anypoint studio = must, integration analyse or architect experience = must)
  • Experience in preparing technical analysis
  • Knowledge of test methodology
  • Experience with MUnit
  • Experience with Salesforce (at least integration perspective)
  • Knowledge of API-Led Connectivity
  • Experience in development of event-driven architectures
  • Experience with SQL
  • Experience in making technical analysis
  • Experience in making and finetuning a canonical data model
 
  • Nice to have
  • Experience with Jira
  • Experience with Agile and scrum methodology
  • Experience in the Insurance sector
