Senior Operational Security Architect

Overview
The Senior Operational Security Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and continuously improving security architectures and controls across complex IT environments. This role combines deep technical expertise with a broad understanding of infrastructure, networks, cloud technologies, and operational cybersecurity.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain security architectures, standards, and best practices.
• Translate security risks into practical technical and operational solutions.
• Support security engineering, vulnerability management, threat detection, and incident response initiatives.
• Provide guidance on cloud, network, endpoint, data, and infrastructure security.
• Collaborate with SOC teams, infrastructure teams, and external partners to deliver security improvements.
• Ensure alignment with security governance, compliance requirements, and risk management objectives.

Profile

• Extensive experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, and/or security architecture.
• Strong knowledge of networking, operating systems, cloud platforms, and security technologies.
• Ability to assess complex technical challenges and design sustainable security solutions.
• Experience with security frameworks, risk assessments, and governance practices.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCNP, SSCP, Security+, Azure Security, or AWS Security are considered an asset.
