Your Mission:
Join and lead an agile Squad of passionate professionals delivering critical, high-impact applications for a prestigious international public institution based in Luxembourg. This is a unique opportunity to own end-to-end delivery accountability across all squad workstreams and applications—from technical architecture and Kanban flow through to production deployment.
As a Squad Lead, you will play a central, hybrid role combining technical stewardship, delivery management, and leadership. You will manage cross-application dependencies, drive technical shift strategies, and serve as the primary project management interface with the Head of Unit and senior management. By coaching the team and driving continuous improvement, you will coordinate key decisions alongside the Product Owner, Technical Lead, and QA Lead to ensure robust, secure, and scalable solutions.

• End-to-End Delivery: Take full ownership of outcomes and execution across all squad workstreams and production releases.

• Agile Flow & Leadership: Optimize the squad's Kanban workflow, managing WIP (Work in Progress) and leveraging flow metrics to ensure consistent delivery.

• Stakeholder Management: Translate deep technical complexity into clear, business-level status and risk language for senior management and institutional stakeholders.

• Team Coaching: Mentor and coach developers, fostering a strong engineering culture focused on continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Technology Stack & Experience:

• Proven experience in software engineering as a Team Lead, Technical Lead, or Delivery Lead.

• Strong hands-on technical background in Java and/or JavaScript / React development.

• Deep working knowledge of Agile and Kanban methodologies, including workflow optimization.

• Demonstrated experience managing technical migrations or platform shifts.

• Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and release management.

• Fluent in English is mandatory.

• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical senior stakeholders.

Would be a plus:

• Experience working within international or public European institutions.

• Formal Agile or Project Management certifications (e.g., PMI, Scrum, Kanban).

• Experience with cloud-native architectures or modernizing legacy enterprise systems.
