Standard Requirements:
Provides recommendations on how to implement or improve data governance policies and procedures
Creates data governance plans that outline policies, procedures, and standards for data management
Reviews existing data governance programs to identify opportunities for improvement
Provides guidance on the selection of technologies to support data governance efforts such as data dictionaries and metadata repositories
Recommends policies and procedures for data security, retention, and disposal
Required Experience:
Professional hands-on experience with cloud-based projects
2+ years’ experience in Data & Information Governance role in particular
Knowledge of industry leading data quality and data protection management practices.
Practical track records in data governance practices, business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets and approaches related to data protection.
Possess knowledge of data related governance regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues.
Knowledge of risk data architecture and technology solutions
Skills that will be an asset:
Degree in Information Technology or related field of study;
Azure and/or AWS Certifications
Good teamwork ability
Customer and delivery focus
Good skills of Leadership and Communication
Experience with Agile/Scrum/Waterfall methodologies
Ability to analyze, organize and plan
High sense of proactivity, responsibility and autonomy
Language Requirements: Fluent in Portuguese and English – mandatory
The salary range for this position varies between 28k-35k gross annually, depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience demonstrated during the interview process.
