Work Model: On-site service provision (Foreseen ratio: 40% intra-muros / 60% extra-muros)
Context/Project: Software development methodologies, DevSecOps, and Software Factory
Education Requirement: Minimum level of education: Level 7 – Master’s degree
Security/Integrity: Personal Security Clearance Required: RESTREINT UE/EU RESTRICTED (procedure must be initiated within the first 45 days of assignment)

DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS
The external service provider will perform the following typical tasks and responsibilities:
  • Consultation: Provide consultations in software engineering areas and act as a trusted technical advisor.
  • Process Design: Design software development lifecycles and associated processes.
  • Architecture Review: Recommend decisions and review end-to-end software solution architecture for complex projects.
  • Strategic Vision: Own and evolve the engineering vision across the software factory.
  • Standards Definition: Define architecture standards, reference architectures, and best practices.
  • Governance: Ensure consistency and alignment of architectures across the enterprise.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Architectural Design: Knowledge in software architecture design for complex, distributed systems and proven experience with cloud-native architectures.
  • Development Proficiency: Hands-on experience with backend and/or frontend development (e.g., .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript).
  • DevSecOps Mastery: Strong knowledge of CI/CD strategy, platform design, container orchestration, and platform engineering concepts.
  • Technical Leadership: Ability to influence teams without direct authority and experience mentoring senior engineers and development leads.
  • Strategic Capability: Ability to define architecture visions, evaluate technical risk, and make high-impact decisions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, effective documentation, and leadership skills.
SPECIFIC EXPERTISE (Mandatory)
  • IT Professional Experience: Minimum of 8 years of IT-relevant professional experience.
  • Similar Position Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Technical Domain Expertise:
    • Strong understanding of various architecture styles.
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure services.
    • Experience in modelling systems using ArchiMate notation.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES
At least two (2) certifications (or internationally recognized equivalents) from the following list are mandatory:
  1. Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  2. Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert
  3. Red Hat® Certified Architect (RHCA)
