DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS
The external service provider will perform the following typical tasks and responsibilities:
  • Platform Architecture Design: Designing and communicating platform architecture, setting standards for design, development, and quality, and designing interoperability and interfaces with other systems.
  • Requirements Translation: Transferring business, user, and technical needs into architectures and mapping business goals to system features.
  • Business Analysis: Gathering and assessing business needs and user requirements to translate them into optimal technical solutions aligned with architecture design.
  • Technical Evaluation: Selecting and evaluating technologies, preparing system documentation, and providing presentations to various audiences.
  • System Optimization: Collecting and interpreting system metrics to optimize the platform for performance, security, and quality.
  • Project Supervision: Supervising implementation projects and platform improvements in close cooperation with other ServiceNow Architects and Developers.
  • Support & Risk Management: Supporting teams in risk management, disaster recovery, and security management.
  • Documentation Maintenance: Maintaining up-to-date documentation, including technical designs, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), user manuals, and knowledge base articles.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Platform Expertise: Excellent hands-on experience designing ServiceNow solutions (on-premise experience is advantageous) and knowledge of the ServiceNow products portfolio.
  • Integration Knowledge: Familiarity with key technologies for ServiceNow integration, including Web Services, SSO, LDAP, and REST.
  • Modelling Tools: Practical experience using systems modelling tools such as Sparx Enterprise Architect or Aris Architect.
  • Standards & Interoperability: Understanding of complex information systems interoperability and IT security standards.
  • Professional Skills:
    • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Supportive personality with a service-oriented attitude and the ability to work under minimal supervision in stressful environments.
    • Forward-looking approach with a holistic view of the platform.
SPECIFIC EXPERTISE (Mandatory)
  • IT Professional Experience: Minimum of 8 years of IT-relevant professional experience.
  • Similar Position Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES
The following certification (or equivalent) is mandatory:
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator.
