DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS
The selected candidate will perform the following typical tasks and responsibilities,,,:
  • Architectural Design: Designing and communicating enterprise-wide databases architecture, schemas, analytic platforms, BI services, and data governance.
  • Standards Setting: Setting standards in the scope of design, development, quality, and testing.
  • Requirements Translation: Eliciting needs, analyzing requirements, and transferring business, user, and technical needs into formal architectures.
  • Lifecycle Management: Maintaining and tracking architecture throughout the systems lifecycle and identifying options for potential solutions.
  • Strategic Mapping: Mapping business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, and system features.
  • Leadership & Management: Leading development teams and development processes, and selecting/evaluating technologies.
  • Optimization: Optimizing systems from performance, security, and quality points of view; collecting and interpreting system metrics.
  • Support & Documentation: Contributing to systems design, testing, quality assurance, and change management; preparing system documentation and presentations.
  • Infrastructure & Repository: Estimating and sizing network infrastructure and contributing to the Enterprise Architecture repository and managing required artifacts.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Technical Knowledge and Professional Skills
  • Data Expertise: Expert in designing enterprise-level data architectures and Big Data/Modern Datawarehouse systems architecting.
  • Technical Proficiency: Excellent knowledge of Big Data processes (Hadoop, Spark, Storm, Kafka), Data Governance, Data Catalogue, Common Data Model, and Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Database Management: Expert in planning capacity and security for databases; familiar with SQL, NoSQL (Document based), and cloud integration patterns.
  • Modelling & Frameworks: Sound knowledge of designing systems in UML and proficiency in modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect or Aris Architect.
  • Standards: Familiar with TOGAF, Zachman, or Azure Well-Architected frameworks and ITILv4 process design.
  • Modern Practices: Familiar with the DevSecOps approach and cloud-native integration and migration patterns.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and effective documentation skills with strong problem-solving abilities.
MANDATORY EXPERTISE
  • IT Professional Experience: Minimum of 8 years of IT-relevant professional experience
  • Similar Position Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position
  • Specific Requirements: Good understanding of the AI Act and its implications; experience with modelling in ArchiMate
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES
At least two (2) certifications from the following list (or equivalent) are mandatory,:
  1. Iasa Architect CITA-A
  2. CDP Data Engineer
  3. CDP Data Analyst
  4. Microsoft Certified: Azure Enterprise Data Analyst Associate
