DESCRIPTION OF THE TASKS
The external service provider will perform the following typical tasks and responsibilities:
  • Framework Management: Establishes processes for enterprise architecture developments and management.
  • Strategic Design: Designs and communicates enterprise architecture, maintaining the architectural repository.
  • System Integration: Designs interoperability and interfaces between systems.
  • Requirements Architecture: Elicits needs, analyses requirements, and transfers business, user, and technical needs into formal architectures.
  • Strategic Mapping: Maps business goals, project benefits, and system features, and defines transition roadmaps.
  • Project Support: Supports programmes and projects in planning and controlling (especially regarding risk management), harmonizing change management, and ensuring architectural compliancy.
  • Analysis & Assessment: Assesses architecture maturity, analyses organisational structures, information systems portfolios, and business processes.
  • Reporting: Conducts IS costs/benefits analysis and prepares system documentation and presentations.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
  • Experience: Has performed the role of Enterprise Architect and has hands-on experience in building EA culture and practices.
  • Domain Expertise: Expert in enterprise and business architecture design, including value streams and capability maps.
  • Methodologies: Familiar with market-wide architecture standards or frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, and Azure Well-Architected framework.
  • Tools: Proficient in using systems modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect or Aris Architect.
  • IT Strategy: Expert knowledge in computer science to research IT solutions and identify ways to enhance existing operations.
  • Leadership & Management: Efficiency in time and project management; demonstrative of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and presents leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Soft Skills: Capability of working in an international/multicultural environment with excellent communication skills for educating employees on best practices.
SPECIFIC EXPERTISE (Mandatory)
  • IT Professional Experience: Minimum of 8 years of IT-relevant professional experience.
  • Similar Position Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Specific Requirement: Documented experience in the governance of architecture function.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES
At least one (1) certification from the following list (or equivalent) is mandatory:
  1. The Open Group Certified Architect (Open CA).
  2. Zachman Certified – Enterprise Architect.
  3. CISSP Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (CISSIP-ISSAP).
  4. ITIL v3 Master certification.
  5. Certification of Capability in Business Analysis™ (CCBA).
