A Business Development Manager is responsible for developing new strategies for business growth along with managing and orchestrating a team to achieve these strategies and company growth goals. The role involves actively monitoring Sales and Marketing teams to ensure the company growth goals are on track. The incumbent must be aware of each opportunity in the pipeline and guide the team accordingly to meet targets as well as look for more opportunities and leads to grow the business. The incumbent must ensure marketing literature is relevant and how it can help lead generation.
Responsibilities:
Manage a small team of Sales and Marketing executives
Develop a growth strategy focused on financial gain and relevant technology services
Come up with digital marketing strategies to help lead generation
Overseeing the development of marketing literature
Regular and quarterly target reporting to C level executives
Keep track of sales and revenue
Overseeing internal processes to find bottlenecks
Work with cross-team members on implementing other elements that also help on achieving growth goals
Skills:
Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role
Proficiency in English; written and verbal
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a sales track record to prove it
Experience in customer support is a plus
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
Time management and planning skills
Must have excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets
