Your Mission

As Product Manager, you will have a direct reporting line to the Manager Product Management who reports to the Director Business Solutions & Customizations.
You will be responsible for defining and delivering market-leading construction machinery products and customized solutions. You will drive customer-centric innovation, shape long-term product roadmaps, and ensure successful product delivery and performance through its lifecycle. 

This role requires a deep understanding of market dynamics, financial acumen, strong technical collaboration, and leadership across cross-functional teams (Engineering, Sales, and Marketing). The role emphasizes innovation, customer value, cost performance, and technical excellence.
Your role encompasses:

  • Market and Customer Insight: Understanding customer needs and market dynamics is foundational.

  • Strategic Thinking and Vision: Product Management must translate customer and market needs into a coherent product vision and long-term strategy.

  • Cross functional Collaboration: Product Managers work with diverse teams to deliver products and solutions, including suppliers.

  • Execution and Delivery management: Turning ideas into shipped products and solutions requires strong project management, planning and execution.

  • Analytical and Financial Acumen: Product Managers must ensure product profitability and performance.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

Market and Customer Research

  • Conduct market segmentation, trend analysis, and competitive benchmarking.

  • Identify customer needs, usage patterns, and pain points.

  • Develop clear user personas and gather ongoing feedback to validate product direction.

 

Product Vision and Strategy

  • Define the long-term product vision, strategy, and portfolio roadmap for both base machine as well as customized options.

  • Identify unmet market opportunities and drive innovation.

  • Articulate clear value propositions based on customer and business needs.

  • Ensure alignment of product strategy with company growth targets and engineering roadmaps.

 

Product Development & Financials

  • Collaborate with R&D, engineering, QA, and design for product specification and development.

  • Seek opportunities with external suppliers.

  • Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and lead milestone delivery.

  • Ensure compliance with development standards, especially for European markets.

  • Define target costs, pricing structure, and profitability goals.

  • Evaluate financial performance post-launch and adjust as necessary.

 

Roadmapping and Planning

  • Create and maintain product roadmaps, aligned with business goals.

  • Track development timelines, feature sets, and key product KPIs.

  • Coordinate with stakeholders across regions and functions for strategic alignment.

 

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Manage product lifecycle from concept to retirement.

  • Lead the cross functional teams for new product introductions (NPI).

  • Monitor performance and quality metrics, drive product enhancements.

  • Support product launches, field testing, and technical and sales training.

  • Ensure documentation, marketing materials, and service support are in place.

 

Communication

  • The product manager provides answers and information to internal and external stakeholders (HCM, internal departments, dealers, suppliers, customers) related to his/her product group.

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Master’s in Business Administration preferred).

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product management within construction machinery, construction equipment, or similar OEM industries within Europe.

  • Strong technical acumen combined with commercial and strategic thinking.

  • Experience in international European markets and managing a multi-product portfolio is a plus.

  • Familiarity with product development methodologies.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • High motivation, drive, and entrepreneurial attitude.

  • Fluent in English.

  • Regular travel to customer sites, dealers, and manufacturing locations (domestic and international).

 

What We Offer

  • Compensation built of a yearly gross salary between 71’000 euros and 108’000 euros (including holiday allowance and based on experience)
