Our client has an immediate need for a Project Engineer with experience as a field and/or design engineer preferably on environmental equipment or similar equipment.

Must be able to work overtime as required. Relocation might be considered. Requires BSME/BSCE/BSEE, a four year degree in Engineering or equivalent and at least seven years of experience as a field and/or design engineer involved with application and programming of microprocessor based controllers and development of control equipment.

Experience in providing technical advice and guidance to Engineering, and drafting personnel; reviews contract specifications and advises manager on assignment to appropriate engineers; advises engineers and drafting personnel to ensure compliance with specification and applicable codes as well as optimum application of equipment. Experience in resolves other technical problems arising from design projects. Experience with resolving problems arising at field locations. Experience in working with Service or Field Engineers, construction personnel, customer representatives, etc. Experience with developing and maintaining standard equipment and circuit designs. Experience with improving reliability, simplicity and cost of products and correct specific problems. Experience with reviewing contract designs prepared by others and advising as appropriate for improving and standardizing design and presentation. Experience with maintaining data base for contract tracking and reporting, and utilizing data base management programs to generate data relative to contract status, proposal estimating, manpower planning, etc.
