Clarity is looking for a Store Manager for a busy pharmacy in Waterford City.

What you need to know:
This is a permanent full-time role, with 4–5 days a week and occasional Saturdays are required. No Sundays, Bank Holidays or late nights are required! You will be working with a strong team. The dispensing system used is MPS. The role involves a strong focus on the front-of-shop operations while also supporting the pharmacist with staff coordination, HR tasks, and occasional help in the dispensary.

Main responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day running of the front-of-shop
• Support the pharmacist in staff supervision and HR-related tasks
• Manage stock control and ensure effective ordering and invoicing processes
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards of presentation in-store
• Assist with dispensary duties when needed (training can be provided if necessary)
• Work closely with the team to maintain a positive and efficient work environment

What we're looking for:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities
• A genuine passion for customer care
• Ability to adapt and work flexibly in a busy retail environment
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to take initiative

• A higher certificate in Pharmacy Technician Studies (e.g., IPU course), OR
• Experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in an Irish pharmacy setting
• Previous experience in retail, pharmacy or team supervision is an advantage

Salary is negotiable and based on experience!
