Clarity are recruiting a Staff Grade Hospital Pharmacist in Drogheda, Co. Louth.

What you need to know:

• This is a temporary full-time role (4-month contract) with the potential for extension.
• Monday to Friday, 9am – 4.30pm (35 hours/week).
• While full-time availability is preferred, part-time applicants will also be considered.
• Salary and terms follow HSE pay scales.
• This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern, well-supported pharmacy department in one of the largest hospitals in the North East.

What you'll be doing:

• Contribute to the safe, effective, and economical use of medicines across various specialties including medical, surgical, paediatrics, oncology, and more.
• Assist in the efficient running of the hospital dispensary, including medication procurement, supply, storage, and patient education.
• Participate in a comprehensive clinical pharmacy service, including medication reconciliation and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimise patient outcomes.
• Engage in education, research, and quality improvement as part of a progressive pharmacy team.
• Support service delivery with automated dispensing cabinets and electronic prescribing systems in specialist areas.

What we require:

• Must be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI) or eligible to register.
• Possess the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professionalism) for the proper discharge of the role.
• Candidates must meet the HSE Pharmacist eligibility criteria
