Job description
  • Supporting the development team across two countries – Lithuania and Latvia
  • Providing high-level financial analysis to senior management, assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
  • Providing guidance and advice to the external bookkeeper
  • Reviewing financial reports, ensuring adherence to internal controls and financial policies
  • Coordinating the preparation of financial statements
  • Supporting project finance activities and annual audits, including audit preparation and responding to audit queries
  • Overseeing day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payment processes
  • Reviewing financial information to identify and resolve inaccuracies or imbalances
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a relevant field of education
  • At least 3+ years of experience in treasury management, accounting, or related fields of finance
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
  • Practical experience with financial planning and analysis
  • Strong analytical acumen and excellent skills working with numbers and figures
  • Hands-on approach and a proactive "getting things done" mindset
  • High sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and the ability to plan and prioritize
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with limited direction and the ability to make decisions or recommendations
  • Excellent knowledge of English (written and spoken)
