Compensation: Up to $95,000 per year

Position Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to support defense litigation attorneys in a dynamic hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial

  • Organize and maintain legal documents, discovery, and evidence

  • Draft subpoenas and communicate with custodians of records

  • Conduct legal research, jury verdict analysis, and background investigations

  • Prepare medical chronologies and Howell analyses

  • Collaborate with attorneys, experts, clients, and opposing counsel

  • Assemble trial binders and demonstrative evidence

  • Provide support during voir dire, jury selection, and trial

  • Meet a 1500-hour annual billable requirement


Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of litigation experience (defense litigation strongly preferred)

  • Paralegal certificate from an ABA-accredited institution (strongly preferred)

  • Proficient knowledge of California Code of Civil Procedure and FRCP

  • Strong background in trial preparation and courtroom support

  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask effectively and work in a team environment

  • Familiarity with timekeeping and billing software
