We’re looking for a detail-driven, strategic-minded professional to join our client’s team as a Product Development Specialist. This is a full-time, fully remote position supporting mortgage product development, investor rollout coordination, and guideline management across all origination channels.

This position supports the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of mortgage products and investor programs. You’ll maintain and distribute underwriting guidelines, lead product rollouts, and assist in market research to ensure competitiveness and compliance. You’ll also collaborate with underwriting, compliance, secondary, and operations teams to support the launch of new initiatives.
The role reports directly to the Senior Transaction Manager and will also assist with exception desk support, scenario guidance, and investor bid analysis.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date underwriting guidelines for all origination channels
Coordinate cross-departmental rollouts of new mortgage products and investor programs
Distribute product updates, guideline changes, checklists, and related materials to internal teams and pricing engines
Develop or support internal training materials for product launches and updates
Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify gaps and recommend new features or adjustments
Provide support on loan-level questions for the Exception & Scenario team
Assist with guideline comparisons and analysis for investor bids and bulk transactions
Organize and maintain documentation for internal reference and compliance tracking
Complete additional tasks and special projects as directed by leadership
At least 5 years of mortgage industry experience, preferably with exposure to credit policy, underwriting, and product development
Proven experience coordinating or supporting new mortgage product launches
Familiarity with investor programs, pricing engines, and secondary market requirements
Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
Clear, professional written and verbal communication
High attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred
Comfortable working independently in a fully remote setting
Occasional travel may be requested
Salary 80-90k
