Our client, a well-established private real estate lender, is seeking a hands-on Director of Human Resources to lead and manage all HR functions. This role will oversee recruiting, onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and organizational development to support a growing, fast-paced lending environment.
The ideal candidate brings HR leadership experience within the private lending or real estate finance space and understands the pace and structure of a lending operation. This is an in-office position requiring a strategic yet practical leader ready to own and elevate the HR function.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead all aspects of human resources, including talent acquisition, onboarding, training, compliance, and employee relations.
Manage full-cycle recruitment for both corporate and lending-related roles.
Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and initiatives that support the company’s culture and ensure compliance with all applicable laws.
Act as a strategic advisor and day-to-day resource to leadership and staff on HR matters.
Oversee performance management, employee engagement, and retention strategies.
Ensure compliance with employment regulations and maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
Support leadership with organizational development and change management as the company scales.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of HR management experience, including direct responsibility for recruiting and onboarding.
Prior experience in a real estate lending or private lending environment is required.
Solid understanding of HR compliance, labor laws, and employment best practices.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, solution-focused mindset.
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required; PHR/SPHR certification preferred.

This is a full-time, in-office role based in Aventura, FL.
⏰ Hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
