Cordia Resources is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Manager/Consultant to lead payroll operations and play a key role in the transition from ADP to SAP SuccessFactors. This role will oversee payroll processing for approximately 2,500 employees and manage a team of three payroll professionals. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in payroll processing, system implementation, and process documentation, ensuring a smooth and efficient system transition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end payroll processing for 2,500 employees, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely execution.
- Supervise and provide guidance to a payroll team of three staff members.
- Serve as a project lead for the payroll system implementation from ADP to SAP SuccessFactors.
- Develop and document new payroll processes, workflows, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Train payroll team members on SAP SuccessFactors functionality, features, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system and processing issues during and after implementation.
- Ensure payroll processes remain compliant with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
- Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, IT, and external consultants throughout the implementation process.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of payroll processing experience, including multi-state payroll.
- Proven experience leading payroll system implementations or migrations; experience moving from ADP to SAP SuccessFactors highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills and experience managing or mentoring payroll teams.
- Deep knowledge of payroll regulations, tax requirements, and compliance standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and process improvement mindset.
- Strong written communication skills for creating clear process manuals and training materials.
