Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the design, analysis, manufacture, and testing of flight electronics.
- Lead subsystem design projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Execute detailed electrical design, including schematics and parts layout, for various spacecraft electronics subsystems.
- Conduct performance and survivability analysis to optimize electrical designs.
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers.
Required Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Over 7 years of experience in developing high-reliability electronics.
- Expertise in digital and analog mixed-signal circuit design, including high-speed applications.
- Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium.
- Experience in developing firmware for embedded systems like microcontrollers and FPGAs.
- Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in RF circuit design and testing.
- Familiarity with 3D EM solvers like CST Studio or Ansys HFSS.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python.
- Knowledge of communication protocols like SPI, RS-422, and RS-485.
- Experience in DCDC switcher design and hands-on PCB prototyping.
