Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the design, analysis, manufacture, and testing of flight electronics.
  • Lead subsystem design projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Execute detailed electrical design, including schematics and parts layout, for various spacecraft electronics subsystems.
  • Conduct performance and survivability analysis to optimize electrical designs.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Over 7 years of experience in developing high-reliability electronics.
  • Expertise in digital and analog mixed-signal circuit design, including high-speed applications.
  • Proficient in schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium.
  • Experience in developing firmware for embedded systems like microcontrollers and FPGAs.
  • Familiarity with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in RF circuit design and testing.
  • Familiarity with 3D EM solvers like CST Studio or Ansys HFSS.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python.
  • Knowledge of communication protocols like SPI, RS-422, and RS-485.
  • Experience in DCDC switcher design and hands-on PCB prototyping.
