Cordia Resources is seeking an Accounting Manager who will be responsible for managing a cleanup project focused on account reconciliations and preparing the organization for upcoming audits. This includes overseeing journal entries, resolving historical discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and execute detailed account reconciliations, including bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions
Prepare and review journal entries to correct historical variances
Support external audit readiness by organizing documentation and responding to audit inquiries
Identify gaps in processes and assist with implementing improvements
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting
Provide guidance to junior staff, as needed
Qualifications:
CPA required
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role
Strong reconciliation and audit preparation experience
Knowledge of US GAAP and internal control best practices
Experience with QuickBooks a plus
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
