Accounting Manager-CPA

Cordia Resources is seeking an Accounting Manager who will be responsible for managing a cleanup project focused on account reconciliations and preparing the organization for upcoming audits. This includes overseeing journal entries, resolving historical discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Lead and execute detailed account reconciliations, including bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions
  • Prepare and review journal entries to correct historical variances
  • Support external audit readiness by organizing documentation and responding to audit inquiries
  • Identify gaps in processes and assist with implementing improvements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure data accuracy and timely reporting
  • Provide guidance to junior staff, as needed

Qualifications:
  • CPA required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role
  • Strong reconciliation and audit preparation experience
  • Knowledge of US GAAP and internal control best practices
  • Experience with QuickBooks a plus
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, project-driven environment
