Senior Accounting Manager
Frederick, MDOur Commercial Real Estate & Hospitality client is looking for a Senior Accounting Manager! This is a direct hire/full-time position! The Senior Accounting Manager is responsible for working closely with the Executive Leadership Team directly reporting to the CFO to execute financial strategy while leading the accounting team and financial operations of a stable and growth oriented national company. The Senior Accounting Manager will lead a team and prepare financial statements for (16+) entities. This will include managing accounting for a development project, supporting the budget process, and oversight of A/P, A/R, and payroll functions.

- A minimum of 5 years of experience (including 3+ years of supervisory experience), preferably in commercial real estate, hospitality and/or public accounting.
- A minimum of a BS/BA in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration; CPA desirable.
- Must be proficient in multiple finance technology platforms and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with advanced Excel skills.
- Experience using industry standard accounting systems (i.e. Sage, JDE, M3, Yardi, MRI).
- Strong knowledge and understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
