Vice President of Operations – Georgia Position Summary Our client, a private equity-backed provider of home health and private duty nursing services, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Vice President of Operations to lead and scale its Georgia operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, this executive will provide leadership across multiple locations, driving operational excellence, financial performance, regulatory compliance, and clinical quality throughout the region. The Vice President of Operations will serve as a key member of the leadership team, partnering closely with executive, financial, and clinical leaders to execute strategic initiatives, optimize performance, and support continued growth. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership
Provide oversight of all Georgia-based home health and private duty operations across multiple locations.
Lead, develop, and mentor Branch Administrators and operational leaders.
Establish scalable processes, workflows, and best practices to drive consistency and operational efficiency.
Create accountability through performance metrics, scorecards, and operational reviews.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Financial Performance
Maintain full accountability for branch-level P&L performance, including revenue growth, expense management, and EBITDA achievement.
Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.
Identify and execute initiatives that improve profitability while maintaining exceptional patient care.
Monitor key operating metrics including census growth, admissions, recertifications, productivity, and labor utilization.
Growth & Strategy
Execute organic growth initiatives through market expansion and referral development.
Support acquisition activity, including operational due diligence, integration planning, and post-acquisition execution.
Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and market positioning throughout Georgia.
Help build the operational infrastructure necessary to support future growth initiatives.
Clinical & Compliance Leadership
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation requirements, including Medicare, Medicaid, and private-pay regulations.
Partner with clinical leadership to maintain exceptional patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Drive survey readiness and successful performance during audits and regulatory reviews.
Balance growth objectives with quality-of-care standards and compliance requirements.
People & Culture
Build and sustain a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, collaboration, and patient-centered care.
Lead talent development, succession planning, and retention strategies across operations.
Partner with Human Resources on workforce planning, engagement, and organizational development initiatives.
Develop future leaders and strengthen management capabilities throughout the organization.
Key Performance Indicators Success in this role will be measured through:
EBITDA performance versus budget
Revenue growth and census trends
Start-of-care and recertification performance
Labor cost management
Clinical quality outcomes and survey results
Employee retention and engagement
Successful integration and scaling of operations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MHA, or other advanced degree preferred.
Clinical background preferred but not required.
Ten or more years of progressive leadership experience within home health, private duty, post-acute, or multi-site healthcare services.
Demonstrated success managing P&L performance and driving EBITDA growth.
Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, reimbursement models, and healthcare regulations.
Experience within private equity-backed, acquisitive, or other high-growth environments strongly preferred.
Proven ability to lead geographically dispersed teams and scale operations across multiple locations.
