What You’ll Do

As a Special Education Teacher, you will support students with learning delays, disabilities, and diverse educational needs within the school setting.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide individualized academic and developmental support to students
• Develop and implement instructional plans based on students’ unique needs, interests, and abilities
• Adapt curriculum and lesson plans to support diverse learning styles
• Create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
• Monitor student progress and conduct ongoing assessments
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary school teams, families, and related service providers
• Support student growth through evidence-based instructional strategies
• Participate in IEP development, implementation, and progress reporting

What We’re Looking For

• Active State Department of Education Certification in Special Education
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
• Prior teaching experience preferred
• Passion for supporting students with diverse learning needs
• Commitment to creating positive educational outcomes for students
